The famous Trumpet Tune in D was thought for many years to be composed by Henry Purcell, but we now know it was probably written by Jeremiah Clarke, an English baroque composer and organist also known for his equally-famous Trumpet Voluntary. This arrangement is suitable for junior or senior high school-level players and above.
