Somebody Spiked the Wassail...
Traditional
Arranged by Jason Sullivann
Brass quintet with optional "carolers" and/or drum set
Somebody Spiked the Wassail... is a fun arrangement with a "neighbourhood band that got a little buzzed at the party" theme. Based on the traditional carol The Wassail Song, or Here We Come A-wassailing, it's probably not the best piece for a Church concert!
The arrangement runs through some variations: including March, Blues, Swing, Reggae, Classic Rock, and Waltz. The schtick can be omitted and the piece performed as a stand-alone arrangement for brass quintet, or brass quintet and drums.
