This arrangement of Oh When the Saints (When the Saints Go Marching In, or The Saints) was inspired by a "Shout Band" from The United House of Prayer for All People. Shout Bands are trombone-heavy brass ensembles inspired by trombone choirs in the Moravian Church, a denomination dating back to the 1700s that incorporated trombone ensembles in traditional worship, burial services and Easter sunrise services.
