Arranged by Bruce Hurn

O Tannenbaum (O Christmas Tree) is a traditional German Christmas song that celebrates the evergreen fir tree as a symbol of constancy and faithfulness. The lyrics to the song were written in 1824 by Ernst Anschütz, based on a 16th-century folk song. O Tannenbaum is widely sung around the world during the Christmas season.

Our arrangement starts out traditionally, but gets into the hot swing as soon as it can. A key change rounds out the tune before a nicely timed low note button. Your bass trombone player will love it!
