Composed in 1928, Embraceable You was published in 1930 and included in the Broadway musical Girl Crazy, performed by Ginger Rogers in a song and dance routine choreographed by Fred Astaire.

This lovely arrangement contains moderate range and should be playable by high school or college-level brass quintets or above. First trumpet is the main soloist, but 2nd trumpet, horn and trombone all get to play a bit of the tune.
