This popular Christian hymn was said to have been a favourite of both King George V and Mahatma Gandhi. It was sung at the wedding of Queen Elizabeth II in 1947, and sung or played at the funerals of Sun Yat-sen in 1925, George V in 1936, Queen Mary in 1953, and the Grand Duke of Luxembourg in 2019.
